The final, final, final edit is almost done. I am excited to have this book 99.9% finished. Once a book has been revised and edited for typos, I order a few 'Proof' copy paperbacks, which I then go through with a pen, marking any changes, while my dear sister goes through with a sharp eye for any straggling typos. That process is now very near its completion.
Writing the first draft, although still challenging, is by far the most fun. Revision and editing, followed by more revision and editing, feels like the final phase of a marathon. So it is exciting and refreshing to finally reach this stage.
So, "Journey to Hokka Du" (whose title was the suggestion of my grandson Aoden, while I was reading the first draft to him) should be available on Amazon within 2 weeks.
If you have been following along and have read the early ebook edition, please keep your eye out for my next newsletter announcing its arrival and request for your most cherished review. If Amazon doesn't see reviews within the first week of launch, the book gets sent to the deep, dark basement of lost books.
Anyway, excited to give this update and finally get this book finished.
Blessings!
